Kennel Technician

Pet Boarding / Daycare facility in Point Loma looking for kennel tech and store employee. We’re looking for an energetic team player to join our crew. This is a great opportunity to gain more experience in all aspects of pet care, nutrition and customer service.

• Excellent customer service skills and upbeat personality
• cash register/cash-handling experience
• You must be available to work some holidays. Absolutely required:
• Experience with animals. Must be comfortable in large groups of dogs, comfortable handling cats, etc.
• Reliable transportation
• Be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays on once - twice a month.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Positive attitude and pay very close attention to detail.
• Avi Mark software/pet food knowledge a plus

• Feeding and medicating boarding animals
• Bathing dogs and cats including nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.
• Rotating dogs to backyard throughout the day
• Supervising doggie playtime outside
• Off-premise dog walking
• Clean/sanitizing dog runs and cat cages
• Administering vaccines
• Cleaning/sanitizing kennel and outside area
• Checking-in and out boarding/daycare/grooming animals
• Assisting front desk/store staff when necessary

$18 -$19.50
