Location:

Earth City, MO
Laboratory focus: radiochemistry and metals analysis.

Compensation: $17–18/hour, overtime as needed.

Position:
Full-time, Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, overtime as required. Entry‑level with growth opportunities.

• Logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the laboratory and verifies receipt of samples.
• Assists in preparing bottle kits for delivery to clients and ensures accurate, timely documentation of sample log‑in, labeling, and routing.
• Determines priority level and appropriate testing procedures of samples according to Chain of Custody, labels, stores samples per documented procedures.
• Sample Control Technicians will also be responsible for proper disposal of samples and waste per applicable procedures.
• Receives and unloads incoming samples or consignments per DOT regulations, verifies receipt against Chain of Custody, matches with quotes, notes discrepancies daily.
• Logs samples into Lab Management System to assign lot numbers, distributes paperwork to Project Managers.
• Labels samples, assigns lot numbers, delivers to appropriate labs.
• Prepares bottle kits daily for client collection and return for analysis, following EPA and DOT requirements.
• Forwards samples to other laboratories per DOT regulations as needed.
• Disposes of spent samples, waste, and hazardous materials per procedures.
• Monitors freezer and cooler temperatures daily, confirming readings are within SOP guidelines.
• Cleans and organizes the department daily to maintain a safe work environment and efficient workflow.
• Maintains safety and conducts all operations in an environmentally compliant manner.
• Stocks and supplies inventory daily, assists with inventory control.
• Performs splits and composites as requested.
• May perform courier duties as needed.
• Assists in maintenance of walk‑in coolers to facilitate sample location.
• Ships empty coolers back to clients and other Eurofins Laboratories, logs outgoing coolers for detailed inventory.
• Conducts all client interactions professionally.
• Other duties as determined by local management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
