- Location:
San Diego, CA - Duration: 6 month contract
- Pay rate range: 25-30/hour
- Schedule:
4:30pm-1:00am, Tuesday-Saturday
- MT/MLT with 0 to 5+ years of lab experience
- CVT/RVT/LVT with 1 to 5+ years of lab experience
- Associate's degree with 1 to 5+ years of lab experience OR Bachelor's degree with 1 to 5 years of lab experience
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop and work within a laboratory team
- IT and LIS (laboratory information system) experience and general comfort level with computer systems, technology, and equipment interfaces
- Able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced STAT environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to work within Windows and Laboratory Information System environment
- Proficient knowledge in Hematology, Chemistry, and Urinalysis
- Experience with 2-3 of the following instruments:
Advia 2120i, Immulite 2000xpi, Beckman Coulter chemistry platforms, Clinitek Novus, or Stago STarT - Experience in the veterinary field strongly preferred, but not required
