Inspector, Quality Assurance - QA​/QC, Quality Control ​/ Manager

We have a major Oil & Gas client hiring various experienced Site Quality Inspectors for their construction project located in Louisiana. We are building a pipeline of qualified inspectors across multiple disciplines for near-term and upcoming mobilizations in 2026.

Openings include the following:

• Mechanical Inspector
• Piping Inspector
• Coating Inspector
• Electrical Inspector
• Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector
• Equipment Inspector
• Structural/Welding Inspector

Contract term and work schedule

• Start date: Hiring anticipated to start in Q2 until Q3.
• Contract duration: Typically 12–18 months
• Schedule: 5/10s (Inspectors typically work 50 hours minimum and 56 hours average per week (except holiday weeks)
• Pay: Hourly with 1.5OT for hours over 40/week
• Per diem: Offered to candidates who meet the distance requirements
• Note: No C2C (solicitation emails will be ignored) / Candidates must be eligible and authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or visa.
• 7+ years of relevant inspection experience (discipline-specific)
• LNG project experience (construction preferred)
• Experience working for the Owner or in an Owner representative capacity
• Intermediate IT skills (reporting, documentation systems, Microsoft tools)

Key responsibilities

• Execute Owner-side quality surveillance and inspection activities across assigned scope
• Verify construction work meets approved drawings, ITPs, codes, standards, and project specifications
• Review and validate contractor quality documentation (ITRs, MDRs, turnover packs, test reports)
• Witness and document inspections, testing, and sign-offs per Inspection & Test Plans
• Identify nonconformances, support NCR disposition, and verify closeout actions
• Maintain accurate daily inspection reports and quality records in project systems
• Communicate clearly with contractors, QA/QC teams, and project stakeholders while maintaining independence and integrity
