General Summary
The Quality Foreman is responsible for performing and documenting quality assurance testing on raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products in accordance with ISO 9000 quality system and internal quality control procedures.
Responsibilities- Measure and document results of quality tests for materials, processes, and finished products.
- Determine conformance with specifications and internal procedures.
- Primary responsibility for calibration of equipment in accordance with quality system.
- Review production and quality documentation.
- Assist in maintenance of all inspection and testing equipment and implement new quality assurance procedures.
- Provide assistance to production, shipping & receiving, inventory control, maintenance, and employee training.
- Perform other quality‑related responsibilities as needed.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Experience- Minimum 5 years of quality experience.
- Perform medium‑duty manufacturing work in a group environment.
- Basic literacy, computation, and measurement reading skills.
- Basic proficiency in Excel.
- Previous quality or manufacturing experience a plus.
- Ability to perform duties of a Quality Control Technician III or equivalent work experience.
The employee must talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to operate small hand tools, reach with hands and arms, and frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Additional Duties- Supervise all test work assignments safely and in a timely manner with minimal managerial oversight.
- Supervise others in an enthusiastic, friendly, courteous, and responsive manner.
- Meet with Quality Control Department Management periodically to discuss performance and document improvement areas.
