** Position Summary*
* The Quality Technician  is responsible for independently evaluating finished products and incoming ingredients through a variety of testing methods, including sensory, analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing. This role requires a strong understanding of quality specifications, testing methods, and production processes, as well as the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformance issues.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Participate in daily plant inspections, process monitoring, and internal audits

+ Perform sensory evaluations and analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing on finished goods and raw materials

+ Maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program, including swab testing and reporting results

+ Identify and investigate non-conforming materials and products; evaluate data and recommend solutions

+ Assist with customer complaint investigations

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality testing and programs

+ Perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance per established procedures

+ Prepare and deliver reports to the Quality Supervisor and other stakeholders

+ Provide additional support to the Quality Supervisor as needed

** Qualifications*
* + Associate degree or certification in a science-related field preferred

+ OR minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment or laboratory

+ Strong ability to interpret and organize technical data for communication and analysis

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
