What You Will Be Doing
Inspect aircraft for functional operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspect the installation and operation of electrical, avionics, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of the aircraft. Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Perform Process Compliance Surveillance Program (PCSP) audits. Conduct incident and/or mishap investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations.

Physical RequirementsThis position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. May require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined space entry.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of quality assurance experience on aircraft.
- Minimum 3 years aircraft operations experience.
- Experience in reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents.
- Experience in using various inspection measurement tools.
- Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Previous U-2 experience.
- Experience with AS9100 Quality systems.
- Experience with DCMA 8210 Contractor’s Flight and Ground Operations.
- Knowledgeable of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention, Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs.
- Aircraft PDM experience.
- Experience in aircraft quality processes and procedures.
- Experience in aircraft crew escape systems (i.e., canopy and ejection seat).
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: Secret.
