The Position

We are looking for a quality technician for our Fenton facility on 3rd shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
  • Manage the inspection and qualification of parts sent to the quality department.
  • Complete in-process and final inspections. Complete special certifications as part of inspections as required.
  • Generate nonconformance material reports when necessary.
  • Assist in the calibration system of all production gauges, corrective actions for external and internal nonconformances, and quality audits.
  • Complete First Article inspections as they are issued to you.
  • Execute containment actions on reported suspect product.
  • Supervise the sorting of suspect or nonconforming products.
  • Train, manage and instruct temporary workers and sorters who perform secondary and sorting activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge of quality and quality control systems or experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of basic hand measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, digital scales, and length gauges.
  • Ability to interpret basic drawings.
  • Experience or knowledge working in Microsoft Office tools using Excel and Word.
