Quality Assurance Test Lead

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Assurance Test Lead. Position Type:
Full-Time, Contract Duration: 6 months

Location:

Maryland Heights MO 63043 (Onsite) As a Quality Assurance Test Lead, you will:

Lead all QA activities for complex software development projects and programs.

Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing strategies.

Drive test automation initiatives and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Coordinate and manage QA efforts across onshore and offshore teams.

Lead teams of approximately 10-15 QA resources while collaborating within a larger global QA organization.

Track, manage, and report on multiple concurrent testing efforts and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to established QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.

Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance overall testing effectiveness and efficiency.

Mentor, coach, and train QA team members to improve performance and testing maturity.

Collaborate closely with business, development, and technical teams to ensure quality objectives are met.

Act as a subject matter expert and internal quality consultant for assigned programs and systems.

Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, curiosity, and quality excellence.

Drive issue resolution, defect management, and risk mitigation throughout the testing lifecycle.

Provide leadership visibility through transparent communication, proactive problem-solving, and timely escalation of risks and challenges.

The ideal candidate will have:

5-10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing, including Test Lead responsibilities.
Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams across both onshore and offshore locations.
Strong background in test automation, with automation experience preferred over purely manual testing.
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and software development life cycles.
Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and executing end-to-end testing efforts.
Hands-on experience with HP ALM/Quality Center, HP Test Suite, Octane, or similar test management tools.
Mobile application testing experience is a strong plus.
Experience enforcing QA standards, improving testing processes, and driving accountability within teams.
Ability to manage multiple testing initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay Range*: $50-$55 per hour Benefits:
