About the Role

Are you a quality leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building systems that make teams stronger? We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement for a dietary supplement manufacturing operation. In this high-impact role, you will partner closely with Operations, Production, Compliance, and QA teams to strengthen processes, solve problems, support audit readiness, and help ensure every product meets rigorous standards for safety, quality, and compliance.

What

You'll Do
  • Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System, including investigations, deviations, CAPAs, training, complaints, out-of-specification results, risk assessments, and change controls.
  • Serve as a trusted quality partner to Operations and Production while driving compliance with FDA regulations, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, ISO standards, and applicable third-party certification requirements.
  • Keep production moving by overseeing the timely creation, approval, and execution of master manufacturing and production batch records.
  • Lead regulatory, client, and internal audits, translating findings into practical actions that strengthen compliance and performance.
  • Use quality metrics, trends, and performance data to identify risks, improve processes, and support proactive management decisions.
  • Lead recall readiness and execution, including initiation, customer and regulatory notification, and product withdrawal when needed.
  • Champion Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices through training, coaching, and partnership with supervisors and leads.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a capable QA Operations team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and ongoing staff development.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a science field required; chemistry or microbiology preferred.
  • 7+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and drive accountability within a team.
  • Strong knowledge of dietary supplement manufacturing and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of FDA, NSF, USP, GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and third-party certification bodies.
  • Practical problem-solver with experience using quality improvement, root cause analysis, and risk-based decision-making tools.
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, adaptable leader who can influence across functions and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment.
