Part-Time Property Operations Assistant – Jackson, MS:

I’m looking for a reliable, organized person to help manage a small rental property portfolio in Jackson for approximately 5 hours per week
.
This is a flexible, part-time role that would be a good fit for a college or graduate student, stay-at-home parent, or someone looking for a small side job with consistent weekly hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing tenant information and tasks in Door Loop property management software
- Monitoring property emails, phone calls, and tenant messages
- Following up on rent payments and lease collection when needed
- Responding to rental inquiries and helping coordinate showings
- Monitoring Furnished Finder inquiries and availability
- Coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Scheduling cleaners and helping manage unit turnovers
- Coordinating basic maintenance and vendor scheduling
- Keeping property records and status updates organized
Help create a resident experience marked by kindness, responsiveness, and respect. We welcome new tenants and look for simple ways to help residents feel connected and cared for. Assist with occasional resident-care or community-building efforts.
Most of the work can be done remotely, although occasional local help at properties may be needed during turnovers or leasing.
Hours: Approximately 5 hours/week
Pay: $18–$20/hour depending on experience
Location: Jackson, MS
Property management experience is helpful but not required. More important are reliability, organization, good communication, comfort with technology, and the ability to follow through without needing constant supervision.
