Location: Hazelwood
Duration: 18 months+
Pay: $25/hr on 1099 all-inclusive, no benefits
Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Join our dynamic lab team in a GMP/GDP-regulated environment, supporting microbiology tests and products. Gain hands‑on experience with cultures, VITEK 2 testing, Industrialization projects, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Handle bacteria/yeast cultures using aseptic techniques; identify mixed cultures and escape.
- Fulfill culturing requests, prep materials (e.g., open pouches, label setups).
- Perform VITEK 2 microbial testing; generate/review data and report to supervisors.
- Monitor equipment, conduct/document preventive maintenance and QC per SOPs.
- Maintain documentation, drive process improvements, prioritize tasks independently.
- Support lab maintenance, PPE adherence, and inter‑departmental activities.
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related.
- 2+ years post‑grad experience in microbiology culturing, testing, aseptic techniques, and lab equipment.
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP, good lab practices, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with microorganisms and VITEK 2.
- Excellent English communication and collaborative mindset.
