OverviewUnder the direction of Supervisor I, this analyst independently performs analytical assignments related to Workforce Development and Training programs for regional center staff and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) who provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The role involves program coordination and consultation throughout the analysis, research, design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Workforce Development initiatives. The analyst analyzes existing DSP programs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and supports data management and reporting to inform departmental decision‑making.
Responsibilities- Perform analytical assignments related to Workforce Development and Training programs and initiatives for regional center staff and DSP.
- Conduct program coordination and consultation in the analysis, research, design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Workforce Development programs and initiatives for individuals with I/DD.
- Analyze overall DSP Workforce Development programs and identify additional opportunities for the Department to explore.
- Provide analytical support, data management, reporting, and recommendations to improve workforce development efforts.
- Analyst II classification.
- Experience with data management, analytical skills, critical thinking, strong writing, and knowledge of the unique needs of individuals with I/DD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project‑management tools.
- Understanding of community and group interaction in developmental disabilities planning.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate analytical results, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
