Job Summary:
The Senior Scientist
- Translational Science Lab (Flow) is responsible for developing and optimizing moderately complex assays and methods to support timely and effective laboratory delivery. This role also provides technical leadership across troubleshooting, method transfer, and cross-functional collaboration to support scalable laboratory operations.## What You'll Be Doing:
* Plan assay and method development activities and draft clear, robust laboratory methods
* Execute method development experiments and support validation and analytical testing activities as needed
* Troubleshoot assays and apply root cause analysis to optimize performance and resolve technical issues
* Transfer methods into validation processes and collaborate across functions to ensure methods are sustainable and scalable
* Lead low to moderately complex technical projects and guide assigned team members to achieve project deliverables
* Mentor and train junior staff while contributing technical expertise to scientific reports, presentations, and documentation
* Support laboratory equipment maintenance, operational standards, and evaluation of new instrumentation##
What We Are Looking For :
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required
* 4 years of related experience in method or assay development or specific methodology area.
* Sound knowledge of assay/method development and scientific principles, theories, concepts, and state of the art instrumentation
* Experience with method validation, assay troubleshooting, and transfer of methods into laboratory operations
* Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree## The Knowledge,

* Strong troubleshooting and advanced problem-solving skills, including application of root cause analysis
* Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to work successfully across functions
* Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail in a regulated laboratory environment
* Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and bring projects to completion within timeline expectations
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients##
