Research Manager

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships end-to-end as a research partner
• Scope, design, and run research projects including concept testing, usability, and market exploration using Outset's AI platform
• Turn qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable customer insights
• Lead customer meetings, onboardings, and training sessions before and after sales
• Create research and product-focused content, documentation, and enablement materials
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to turn feedback into product and business impact
• Move quickly, experiment often, and drive projects to completion

• 5+ years in research, insights, or strategy roles
• Strong qualitative research experience
• Comfortable owning projects and client relationships independently in a fast-moving environment
• Strong at synthesizing messy data into sharp stories, decks, and dashboards
• Fluent in both numbers and narratives
• Clear, confident communicator with executives and day-to-day users
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future
• Willing to work 4 days a week in the San Francisco or New York office
