Role
Biophysicist specializing in protein characterization to support drug discovery in oncology, focusing on RAS-addicted cancers.
Responsibilities- lead the application of orthogonal biophysical techniques (e.g., DSF, SEC-MALS, ITC, SPR) to validate targets, confirm hits, and elucidate protein interactions, especially weak or transient ones relevant to molecular glue platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Structural Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, and Discovery Biology teams to inform project decisions, develop robust assays, and optimize workflows for protein quality assessment.
- Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, or related field; 8+ years in industry drug discovery; extensive hands‑on experience with protein biochemistry and biophysical methods; strong data integration skills across disciplines.
- experience with molecular glues, higher-order biophysics (e.g., SAXS, NMR), and establishing new biophysical workflows; proven track record in mechanistic problem solving and reducing technical risks.
