- Work collaboratively in a team environment at state-of-the-art laboratories
- Develop novel analytical methodologies impacting drug substance and drug product development
- Solve key challenges in product and process characterization
- Use core instrumentation for analysis of small molecules, biologics, and/or vaccines
- Develop analytical, physical, and biological chemistry methods
- Work with expert groups in screening and high-throughput analysis, molecular and materials characterization, structural elucidation, mass spectrometry, NMR, separation techniques, assays, immunoassays, cell-based assays, labeled-compound analyses, trace metals analyses, statistical analysis, data analytics, and machine learning
- Participate in departmental and project team meetings
- Accurately record experimental details in electronic notebooks
- Analyze and interpret data for potential internal or external scientific publications
- Refine laboratory skills and learn new analytical techniques
- Present research results in oral and written formats
- Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biological Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline
- Strong academic performance
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a multi-functional environment
- Available to work full-time for 4-6 months beginning in early to mid-2027
- Completed at least 2 years of studies toward a bachelor's degree by June 2027
- Significant interest in analytical sciences for small molecules, vaccines, and/or biologics
- Basic laboratory skills and research experience
- Lab notebook recording experience
- Experience using analytical instrumentation
- Experience with analysis and interpretation of data
- Knowledge of safe lab practices
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred)
- US and Puerto Rico residents only
- No visa sponsorship
Demonstrates strong analytical skills in chemistry and biology, with experience in laboratory techniques and instrumentation. Capable of effectively communicating research findings and collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
