Role
Senior Scientist in Discovery Sciences & Technologies focusing on drug discovery across Virology, Inflammation, and Oncology.
Objectivesdevelop and apply biochemical, biophysical, and cellular assays to support target validation, lead identification, and optimization.
Responsibilities- design and troubleshoot assays, conduct mechanistic studies on pharmacology and target engagement, analyze complex data, and influence project strategies as a subject-matter expert.
- Communicates findings to multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership, while identifying emerging technologies to enhance capabilities.
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field; 8+ years (BS), 6+ years (MS), or 2+ years (PhD) in biopharma drug discovery.
- Preferred skills include expertise in developing assays for small/large molecules, quantitative pharmacology, high-throughput screening, and mechanistic characterization.
- High-value biopharma specifics include experience in early discovery phases, target engagement, and assay automation; therapeutic areas encompass Virology, Inflammation, and Oncology.
- Collaboration:
serve as a key expert on cross-functional project teams; communicate results effectively.
