Responsibilities- Execute complex recipes and manage high-volume production stations
- Maintain impeccable food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Support team leadership and step in for supervision when needed
- Prep and cook proteins, sauces, and composed dishes with accuracy
- Note:
All culinary team members may be assigned to support any of our resort’s food & beverage outlets based on business needs, including the main restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner service), in-room dining, poolside service, and banquet events.
Schedule:
The shift time is 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We require schedule flexibility, including the willingness to work mornings and/or evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The hourly pay for this position is $24-28/hour depending on experience. This is the pay range for this position at Alila Ventana Big Sur. Decisions regarding individual pay rates will be based on a number of factors including experience and education.

Qualifications- Experience of 2+ years on a sauté & grill station, at a fine dining restaurant or luxury resort
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours, and work under pressure
- Culinary degree preferred; strong communication a must
