Mountain Ridge Cabins and Lodging is situated in the quaint small town of Hatch, Utah. We are located 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon, 50 minutes to Zion, and 1.5 hours away from 10+ national parks, scenic areas, and national monuments. We are a family-owned and operated property that includes 24 luxury style cabins/rooms, a full-service bar/restaurant, and a coffee shop spread through the quaint town of Hatch.
Our properties are open seasonally from May through October and are immediately recruiting for the Summer 2026 season. Enjoy kayaking on Sevier River, hiking or biking through the red rocks, forests, or sand dunes, or take advantage of many nearby activities. Description
The Outlaw Saloon, a full-service bar and grill featuring center between in the small town of Hatch conveniently located between Bryce and Zion National Parks. We are seeking motivated and skilled Line Cooks to join our family-owned and operated team. Our seasonal positions run from April through October and offer competitive pay, a fantastic work environment, and employee housing if desired.

Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing food that meets our management's high standards. Your commitment to quality and customer satisfaction will directly contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare ingredients for service such as chopping vegetables, smoking meats, and preparing sauces.
- Cook menu items efficiently and accurately, coordinating with front-of-house staff.
- Follow direction from the Operations Manager and report any issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as necessary.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with both coworkers and customers.
- Wash dishes, including customer plates and kitchen equipment, nightly.
- Provide recommendations to guests participating in our grill-your-own steak dining option.
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiarity with maintaining inventory levels, especially in a rural setting with limited deliveries.
- Ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of industry best practices.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- $300/month for onsite housing options (private studio or private room with shared bathroom/kitchen).
