McKeever Price Chopper is seeking friendly, dependable individuals to join our team as Salad Bar Clerks. If you enjoy working with fresh ingredients, creating appealing displays, and delivering great customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Salad Bar Clerk, you’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining the salad bar and cold food displays throughout the day. You’ll help ensure the area is clean, fully stocked, and attractive—offering fresh, delicious options for customers while following food safety and sanitation standards.

• Prepare fresh salad bar items including chopped vegetables, fruits, toppings, and pre-made salads
• Stock, rotate, and organize cold display cases and salad bar items
• Monitor product freshness and quality, removing any expired or spoiled items
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and appealing salad bar area
• Label and date all prepared items according to company standards
• Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist customers with questions or special requests
• Support the deli/kitchen team with light prep and cleaning tasks as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently
• Basic food prep and knife handling skills preferred
• Willing to obtain a food handler permit (McKeever’s will assist)
• Ability to follow recipes, portion control, and safety guidelines

• Stand for extended periods (4–8 hour shifts)
• Frequent bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and repetitive motions
• Work in cool environments (refrigerated prep and display areas)
