Pleasant Hope R-VI School District is seeking applicants for substitute openings in our Food Service Department.

  High school graduate, preferred
• Experience:
  
  Appropriate experience for position preferred

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to:

Head cook

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
All days meals are served, plus one day prior and one day after

FLSA STATUS:
Non-exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

The cook is primarily responsible for the preparation and serving of food to students.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares and serves food.
• Store food and supplies.
• Utilize proper safety and sanitation procedures.
• Use and maintains food service equipment.
• Assists in daily cleaning of kitchen and serving areas.
• Wipes tables after breakfast and lunch shifts.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Should be in sufficient health to perform the essential functions of the job.
