Dish​/Bus Person - Part Time

To clean all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and kitchen. Also responsible for performing any reasonable task assigned by the Sous Chefs or cooks. Assists in start up, clean up and shutting down of each shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer to the Executive/Sous Chefs and Cooks.
• Maintain proper sanitation and health department standards in all kitchen areas.
• Keep the kitchen in a clean and safe manner at all times.
• Know and follow all the Mark Twain Casino policies and procedures.
• Perform any other job asked by management.
• Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
• Maintain working relationship with all co-workers, maintain open communication with the Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef at all times.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.
• Clean and set up tables in the restaurant.
• Polish silverware and dishes.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Maintain work station standards at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 16 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

None required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Discriminating Colors, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, and Examining & Observing Details.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Hearing, Lifting 10-50 lbs., Bending / Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning, & Balancing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Inside, Noisy, Heat, Hot, Outside, Wet, Odors, Changing Temperatures, Cold, Dirty, Gloves, and Secondary Smoke, & Bright Lights.
