Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and strengthening communities by providing services and support to individuals and families throughout the Ozarks. OACAC Head Start provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, family support, and disability services to children ages birth through five and their families.

The Food Service Supervisor is an important part of the Head Start team and works closely with center staff and children each day. This position prepares and serves high-quality meals according to established menus while supporting food preparation, meal service, and kitchen operations. The Food Service Supervisor also helps ensure nutrition, health, sanitation, and food safety standards are followed.

• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and program standards.
• Oversee food preparation, production, delivery, and meal service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow food safety, nutrition, health, and sanitation requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks related to food service operations.
• Work cooperatively with center staff and interact positively with children and staff.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience with quantity cooking.

• Friendly, flexible, dependable, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally with children, staff, and families.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

$17.46 per hour
