Steward - Resort Kitchen

Location: Ridgedale, MO
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $16.50 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Steward to join our resort culinary team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This role is responsible for washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, sanitizing work areas, and supporting the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors, workstations, storage areas, and dining service areas
• Remove trash and recycling and keep waste disposal areas clean
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies as needed
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and kitchen supplies
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift

• Previous experience in a steward, dishwasher, or kitchen utility position preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high sanitation standards

• Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
