Servers and Food Runners

The Country Club of St. Albans is seeking experienced, professional Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. This part-time to full-time hourly position is an exceptional opportunity for hospitality professionals who take pride in providing attentive, personalized service in an elevated private club environment.

The ideal candidate is personable, polished, dependable, and attentive to detail, with the ability to anticipate needs and create memorable dining experiences.

We are looking for individuals who approach hospitality as a profession and understand the importance of timeliness, teamwork, discretion, and a positive attitude. Previous serving or hospitality experience is preferred, particularly in private clubs, upscale dining, resorts, hotels, or other service-focused environments.

Day and evening positions are available, including weekends and select holidays.

• Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to Members and their guests.
• Greet Members and guests warmly and confidently guide them through their dining experience.
• Build positive relationships with Members while becoming familiar with their preferences and service expectations.
• Anticipate Member and guest needs and look for opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency while providing composed, efficient service both on and off the dining floor.
• Demonstrate a friendly, professional, and respectful attitude toward Members, guests, and fellow team members.
• Maintain proper organization, cleanliness, and storage of service-related equipment, supplies, and food items.
• Work collaboratively with the À La Carte, Banquet, Culinary, and Food & Beverage teams to provide a seamless member experience.
• Consistently meet established standards for service quality, presentation, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Communicate Member requests, special accommodations, service concerns, and operational needs promptly with Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a professional, team-oriented work environment.
• Uphold the standards, traditions, and service expectations of the Country Club of St. Albans at all times.
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency to ensure food is delivered promptly, accurately, and at the highest level of quality.
