As a Cook I, you’ll help bring our menus to life by preparing and cooking food to recipe, quality, and food safety standards. You’ll keep your station organized, maintain consistency and cleanliness, and work closely with the kitchen team to deliver great food and a positive guest experience. You will:

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, weighing, and measuring
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, preparation checklists, and presentation standards
• Prepare hot and cold food items and ensure proper portions and presentation
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
• Monitor food quality, cooking times, and temperatures throughout preparation
• Follow food safety standards and maintain required food and temperature logs
• Set up, maintain, and break down your workstation
• Keep kitchen work areas, tools, knives, and equipment clean and sanitized
• Use proper protective equipment and follow safe food handling and kitchen practices
• Check food and equipment temperatures to ensure they meet safety standards
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and management
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and guest-ready kitchen
• Support other team members and departments as needed

Food is prepared safely, consistently, and according to recipe and presentation standards. Your station stays clean and organized, food is ready when needed, and you’re a dependable team member who takes pride in your work and helps the kitchen run smoothly.

• 1+ year of cooking or kitchen experience
• Ability to prepare food according to recipes, portions, and presentation standards
• Understanding of basic food safety and proper food handling
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients
• Good judgment and ability to prioritize tasks
• Clear communication with guests, managers, and team members
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in where needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, and twist
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to work around commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning agents
