Founded in 2010, our collections are handmade in downtown L.A. with a dedication to long‑term positive impact—on our industry, community, and customers.

Position Overview

As Spinelli Kilcollin continues to grow globally, we are seeking a Senior Merchandising & Inventory Planning Manager to oversee full product lifecycle analytics—from planning and allocation to assortment strategy, and reporting. This role ensures the right product is in the right place at the right time, balancing creativity with data‑driven precision to optimize performance across retail, e‑commerce, wholesale, and international channels.

The ideal candidate will bridge the creative and operational sides of the business, partnering with Production, Sales, Design, Finance, and Operations to drive cohesive inventory strategies that support sales, margin, and brand goals through strategic foresight, merchandising intuition, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Planning & Forecasting
    • Develop and maintain demand forecasts across eCommerce, retail, wholesale, consignment, international, and event channels while remaining within budgetary thresholds.
    • Partner with Sales, Production, and Design to align stock planning with new launches and seasonal initiatives.
    • Utilize known vendor / supplier lead times in order replenishment and product allocation to optimize stock volumes with peak shopping seasons and events.
    • Manage replenishment for core and best‑selling styles to optimize stock levels by location.
    • Analyze sell‑through, inventory turns, and stock‑to‑sales ratios to guide purchasing and allocation decisions.
    • Oversee inbound and outbound flows across international partners and distribution points.
  • Merchandising & Assortment Strategy
    • Create merchandising guidelines for assortments across stores, pop‑ups, trunk shows, and markets.
    • Ensure all locations have a broad product offering representing our brand identity.
    • Collaborate with Design and Sales to balance new launches and proven sellers.
    • Evaluate assortment performance and recommend style discontinuations or archival decisions.
    • Manage consignment and memo programs with accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • ERP & Optimization
    • Support ERP implementation and ensure data accuracy across systems.
    • Develop reporting tools and workflows to streamline cross‑functional processes.
    • Enhance inventory tracking and reporting efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Produce regular reports on performance, inventory health, and aged stock.
    • Deliver insights and recommendations for markdowns, reorders, and reallocations.
    • Maintain master assortment and replenishment trackers for cross‑functional planning.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or inventory management (luxury, jewelry, or fashion preferred).
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with ERP implementation and inventory management systems (Net Suite experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of improving inventory health, increasing turns, and reducing aged stock.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Production, Sales, Design, and Operations.
  • Experience managing international inventory and consignment processes.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
