Your role involves checking in merchandise received and invoiced to the store.

Position Details:

• Full Time – Mid Level
• Reports Directly To:
  Store Director, Assistant Store Director, Grocery Manager

Daily Operations:

• Maintaining exceptional customer service for all clientele
• Adhering to “Meet and Greet” policies
• Ensuring the backroom is secure and doors are locked when unattended
• Checking in merchandise and verifying invoiced products
• Using forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks
• Maintaining and cleaning the back room, keeping everything organized
• Staying updated with the latest product knowledge

Company Standards:

• Learning and maintaining adequate training for receiving
• Submitting all paperwork promptly to the Store Director
• Maintaining honest and ethical relationships with team members, vendors, and suppliers
• Following all company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly. Ability to stand, move, lift, carry, push, and pull. Use of knives and sharp instruments for food preparation or product removal from boxes. Good vision and hearing are required, along with the ability to work on floors that may be slippery.
