Overview
REGIONAL TRAVELING POSITION – A Store Display Associate will assist individually or in a team with all operations tasks delegated by the Store Display Lead. The role involves opening new stores, renovating existing stores, completing special projects, and supporting store operators when projects are finished. The Associate travels to all project sites to ensure accurate and proper completion and works closely with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic retail environment.
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in multiple renovation, new store, relocation, expansion, and other types of projects.
Ensure project and store activities are completed to company standards in a timely manner.
Perform tasks such as merchandising and product placement, unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store, building and tearing down fixtures, setting schematics, zoning, and creating merchandise templates.
Maintain a safe working environment, implement new procedures, best practices, tools, and efficiencies for all projects, follow all company policies and procedures, and complete other tasks as assigned.
Travel Requirements- Travel up to 100% of the time to specific project locations.
- Overnight travel required; projects run on 10 consecutive day schedules.
- Must be able to travel by driving and flying.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Must be able to work non‑traditional hours.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to climb, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work well with an ever‑changing team.
- Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Strong project skills, with the ability to work on multiple, complex projects.
- Knowledge of sequencing and merchandising preferred.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to see implications and provide solutions and recommendations.
- Must be able to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels.
- Ability to manage personal and company expenses due to travel.
- Must be able to operate small power tools.
- Education:
Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. - Experience:
1-3 years of related work experience, preferably within the retail industry. - Preferred:
Full time or part time retail store management experience. - Technical:
Proficiency with MS Office software including Word, Outlook and Excel; ability to learn new applications.
