Grocery Clerk

Responsibilities

• Ensure the grocery section is well‑stocked by receiving, storing, rotating, and pricing products.
• Create and prop product displays and ensure proper fronting of items.
• Handle product damages and credits in accordance with company policy.
• Assist customers in locating items by knowing store product locations.
• Perform cashier duties when required.
• Unload trucks, price and display products, hang shelf tags, organize the backroom, sweep and mop, bag groceries and load them into vehicles, retrieve carts from the parking lot, and clean the work area.
• Use equipment such as box cutter, pallet jacks, power jacks, cardboard baler, floor scrubber, ladders, and lifts.
• All powered‑equipment operators must be 18 years of age or older.

• Excellent standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, and moving ability.
• Basic math skills for pricing, prop, and transaction work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old to use powered equipment.
