Service Porter

Position Overview

Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Service Porter to join the Glendale Team. The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the servicing of vehicles and the upkeep of the dealership property. This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week) with a rotating schedule of 4‑10 hour days, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with an hour lunch break.

Some Saturdays may be required.

• Greeting all service customers in a friendly and courteous manner
• Running and maintaining alignment and battery check in the Service Drive
• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the service manager and advisors in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer pickups, pulling around vehicles
• Washing rental and loaner vehicles during downtime
• Assisting with weather‑related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Taking out trash, cardboard, scrap metal and cleaning service shop
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned by management

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to pass a background and drug test once a conditional offer of employment is received
