Sales Associate

The Sales Associate provides support to the Management Team by providing products to all customers and maintaining a conducive work environment. To accomplish these tasks, the Sales Associate works closely with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and customers.

Daily Duties:

• Ensures that all activities conform to Trexcon policies and procedures.
• Communicates effectively and appropriately with all staff members.
• Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned. Remains flexible in daily routine.
• Supports the mission statement and Core Values of Trexcon.
• Gives fast, friendly customer service.
• Promotes the Smart Rewards Program.
• Brews coffee and cleans fountain areas.
• Maintains a clean parking lot (sweeping, hosing & picking up trash).
• Wipe down gas dispensers.
• Checks in vendors using the current scanning process.
• Restocks coolers and freezers.
• Sweep & mop floors.
• Stocks and cleans roller grills.
• Stocks & front products on shelves.
• Cleans and stocks fountain and coffee areas.
• Cleans restrooms.
• Attends store team meetings.
• Bags ice.
• Finalizes shift paperwork.
• Emptys trash containers inside and outside of the store.
• Checks in gas deliveries.
• Picks up outside trash.
• Cleans sidewalks and parking lots.
• Cleans donut case.
• Adheres to and performs duties as defined in the Restaurant Clerks job description if applicable.
• Accurately performs money transaction on the register.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.

Physical Requirements of the Position:

• Requires prolonged standing.
• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift at least 55 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
• Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.
• Requires some travel.
