Service Clerk (Part-Time)

Summary

We are seeking a Service Clerk to assist customers and ensure a smooth shopping experience. In this role, you will handle various front-end responsibilities, including bagging groceries, retrieving carts, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will play a key role in providing friendly and efficient service while supporting store operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bag groceries
  • Assist customers
  • Retrieve shopping carts
  • Maintain store cleanliness
  • Stock and restock supplies
  • Support cashiers
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

  • Work is typically performed in normal grocery store conditions where temperatures may fluctuate towards the front-end
  • Occasional outdoor work
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including a variety of shifts, days, evenings, nights, and weekends including overtime, as needed

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push and pull
  • Must have visual and hearing acuity
  • Consistently perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to reach, lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to speak to, hear, and understand others via phone and in person in English
