What You’ll Be DoingThe Store Manager – MAC Cosmetics is responsible for driving store performance, achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading the store team. The role combines strong retail leadership with professional makeup artistry expertise, ensuring customers receive personalized beauty consultations, makeup applications, and product recommendations. The Store Manager serves as a brand ambassador, develops client relationships, coaches the team, and maintains the highest standards of operational excellence and visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities Business & Sales Performance- Drive store sales, productivity, and KPI achievement.
- Develop and execute action plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer conversion, average basket size, and repeat business.
- Promote loyalty programs and customer retention initiatives.
- Stay updated on beauty trends, competitor activities, and new product launches.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Create schedules and ensure adequate floor coverage during peak trading hours.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high‑performing team members.
- Foster a positive, customer‑focused, and performance‑driven culture.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the brand at all times.
- Perform professional makeup applications, demonstrations, and beauty consultations.
- Recommend products and makeup routines tailored to customer needs.
- Build and maintain a strong client database and VIP customer network.
- Support in‑store events, product launches, and makeup masterclasses.
- Ensure the team consistently delivers a premium customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
- Oversee cash handling, store administration, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure store cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation.
- Utilize retail systems and tools to support customer engagement and sales tracking.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role, such as:
- Store Manager
- Assistant Store Manager
- Store Supervisor
- Department Manager (Beauty/Cosmetics)
- Professional makeup application experience is mandatory.
- Experience working as a Makeup Artist within a beauty retailer is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with premium beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, or luxury retail brands.
- Strong knowledge of makeup techniques, color matching, skin tones, and beauty trends.
- Ability to perform full‑face makeup applications and product demonstrations confidently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail reporting tools.
- Good English communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
