UNIQLO Loss Prevention Agent - Market

Position Overview

Loss Prevention Agent in San Francisco, CA. Responsible for ensuring a safe shopping environment, inventory management, and shortage reduction. Reports to the Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager and serves as a protection and safety specialist.

• Train store team on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and notify management of violations.
• Identify, apprehend, and detain shoplifters following company protocols.
• Build productive relationships with store leadership and associates.
• Lead associate awareness efforts and facilitate internal investigations.
• Focus on proper inventory management and educate the team on procedures.
• Conduct audits and inventory counts to support loss prevention management.
• Inspect compliance with safety policies through store visits, providing direction and training.
• Identify safety or loss risks and notify management promptly.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Strong knowledge of computer applications including security software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
• Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.
• Ability to travel to stores within the assigned area.
• Must be able to stand or walk on the sales floor for extended periods.

• Effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Stand for long periods, read computer terminals, and move objects of at least 50lbs.
• Repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing while maneuvering around the sales floor and stockroom.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including nights, evenings, and weekends.
