Position Title(s):
Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor
Job Summary:
As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high-performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.
- Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.
- Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
- Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations.
- Additional duties and projects as required.
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Requires prolonged standing (≈5–14 hrs/day). During peak sales periods may work for up to 12 hours. Requires stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs. Must lift items 5–25 lbs regularly. Must have good vision, including color differentiation. Work environment moderately noisy.
Education- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Assistant Manager: $19.38–$22.50/hr with bonus opportunities if KPIs are met. Supervisor: $17.00/hr all roles eligible for company 401(K), medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off.
