Position Overview
UNIQLO Loss Prevention Agent is responsible for maintaining a safe shopping environment for all customers and employees. The agent plays a critical role in inventory management and shortage reduction, reporting to the Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures, and standards; ensure compliance and notify management of violations.
- Ensure the loss prevention team can identify, apprehend, and detain shoplifters by following company guidelines.
- Build productive relationships with store leadership and associates; lead awareness efforts and generate leads for internal investigations.
- Focus on proper inventory management; investigate issues and educate the team on proper procedures.
- Work with leadership to strengthen loss prevention culture.
- Partner with the LP Manager to ensure compliance with company policy and procedure.
- Inspect compliance to safety policy through store visits and provide direction and training.
- Identify safety or loss risks and notify management to prevent accidents.
- Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts; maintain full confidentiality.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of computer applications including security software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
- Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.
- Ability to travel to stores within the assigned area.
- Must be able to work for extended periods of standing or walking the sales floor.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods, read computer terminals, push, pull, or move objects of at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom; repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including nights, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: $24.50 / hour (Costa Mesa, CA). Offered salary based on experience, education, certifications, skills, and location.
