Meat Lead

As a Meat Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise a team of hourly associates to deliver more product value to members while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Lead the meat department team to achieve the business plan and overall club success by communicating goals and executing company programs.
• Show expertise in meat product knowledge, inventory, and production while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Leverage digital tools for forecasting, production decisions, and associate engagement to improve the shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operationally efficient work area, ensuring proper equipment functioning and accurate inventory.
• Identify and provide training to team members, encouraging career growth and talent retention.
• Ensure compliance with Walmart policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete all required job‑related trainings and assessments within a prescribed timeframe.

• Experience in meat processing (boneless and bone‑in).
• Serv Safe Food Services certification.

Hourly wage range: $22.00 to $30.00*

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
