Key Responsibilities
- Help to develop and implement the go-to-market strategy in the bee health segment for new RNA-based varroa mite control technologies, such as Norroa or vadescana.
- Negotiate offers and contracts with key accounts, including distributors, beekeepers, and veterinary professionals.
- Achieve annual budget goals through sales to new customers and growth with existing customers.
- Plan and implement product training with end-users, key accounts, and stakeholders in the veterinary and beekeeping sectors.
- Increase company and product awareness by engaging with associations, key opinion leaders, and actively participating in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
- Report market trends, customers’ requests, and propose product improvements, as well as ideas for new products and services.
- Develop relationships and collaborations with distributors, supporting them in their promotional and sales efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key beekeeping associations, veterinary institutions, and regulatory bodies in Spain.
- Monitor competitive landscape and contribute to strategic planning for expanding Green Light’s veterinary portfolio in the region.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a sales or marketing role within the veterinary or animal health industry, preferably with a focus on bee health or biopesticides.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Biology, or Business.
- Strong knowledge of beekeeping practices, the bee health industry, distribution channels, value chains, and relevant subsidy or regulatory systems in Spain and the EU.
- Experience in sales or product management of varroa mite control solutions or RNA-based technologies strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages (e.g., French or Italian) are a plus.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and building stakeholder relationships in a technical or scientific field.
