VP of Leasing (Data Centers) | West Coast US (On-site)
A fast-growing data center real estate platform is appointing a Vice President of Leasing to lead leasing strategy and execution across a high-quality portfolio. This is a senior, commercially led leadership role for an operator who can build demand, shape go-to-market strategy, and close complex, high-value transactions with hyperscalers, cloud, enterprise, and channel partners. You will own the revenue‑driving leasing agenda – partnering closely with executive leadership and internal stakeholders across development, finance, legal, operations, and delivery – while building and sustaining senior relationships across the data center ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Lead leasing strategy, planning, and execution across a data center portfolio, driving occupancy, contracted revenue, and long‑term customer relationships.
- Originate and progress opportunities from early‑stage engagement through to executed lease, including term sheets/LOIs, pricing, commercials, and final negotiation.
- Build and manage a high‑performing pipeline with hyperscalers, enterprise customers, and key intermediaries (brokers, advisors, and channel partners).
- Define and refine commercial positioning: product strategy, pricing frameworks, incentive structures, and competitive differentiation by market and asset.
- Partner with internal delivery teams to align customer requirements with capacity, power, expansion pathways, and service levels.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to leadership: pipeline health, conversion, timeline‑to‑close, and revenue impact.
- Represent the business externally at industry events and in strategic customer meetings, acting as a senior face of the platform.
- Proven experience leading data center leasing or commercial deal‑making within colocation / wholesale / powered shell environments.
- Track record of closing complex, multi‑year leasing transactions with sophisticated counter parties.
- Strong commercial judgement across pricing, capacity constructs, and risk (credit, term, escalation, deliverability).
- Executive presence and stakeholder influence, able to operate credibly with C‑suite stakeholders internally and externally.
- On‑site availability in the West Coast US.
