Job Description

Foam Products Corporation (FPC) is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships in the foam packaging, insulation, and fabrication markets. The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, construction companies, and industrial customers to identify packaging and insulation needs and provide customized foam solutions. FPC fabricates and distributes custom and standard foam products, offering capabilities including CNC routing, die cutting, laminating, prototyping, custom fabrication, and product testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and target industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, packaging engineers, purchasing managers, and decision-makers.
  • Generate sales of custom foam packaging, protective packaging, insulation products, fabricated foam components, and related solutions.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend cost-effective foam products and fabrication solutions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to develop prototypes, quotations, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and technical product recommendations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Grow revenue within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure customer expectations, delivery schedules, and quality standards are met.
