POSITION SUMMARY:

DuBois Chemicals is seeking a results-driven District Sales Manager (DSM) to drive profitable growth across assigned territories with a focus on the mining and terminal operations marketplace. Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding share within existing accounts, and delivering technical sales solutions that improve customer performance, safety, and operational efficiency. Promotes, sells, and services specialty chemical solutions for applications such as dust suppression, freeze conditioning, spontaneous combustion inhibition, liquid-solid separation, and scale control in hard rock mining, coal mining, bulk material handling, and terminal environments.

DuBois Chemical’s Mining Business Unit is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed chemical solutions for conveyance, storage, and processing of materials such as sulfur, mineral ores, and coal. Support of our continuing product development efforts and active customer projects necessitates the addition of a District Sales Manager to manage customer relationships from executive level through to operations. The successful applicant will have experience with chemical handling equipment, specifically pumps, storage tank solutions, and associated spray equipment installations, as well as maintenance and support of these installations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Drive profitable revenue growth and expand market share within mining, terminal operations accounts, and distributors across the assigned territory.
* Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with mine operators, bulk material handling facilities, terminals, and related industrial customers.
* Develop strong customer relationships by understanding site-specific operational challenges and recommending value-added chemical and service solutions.
* Collaborate with Technical Service Representatives and customer operations to solve customer problems, install, and repair application systems and support chemical applications with customers.
* Create and execute territory growth plans, account strategies, and sales objectives that align with district and regional targets.
* Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately manage opportunities through CRM tools and funnel reviews.
* Collaborate with technical service, operations, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing customer support.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customers’ needs to identify growth opportunities and defend existing business.
* Support product trials, field evaluations, and on-site customer visits to demonstrate performance value and secure long-term partnerships.
