Area Manager, Outside Sales
Job Summary
As a District Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of top‑performing sales professionals, ensuring they achieve and exceed sales goals within your designated region. Your role combines leadership, coaching and direct sales, driving team performance and fostering growth.
Job DutiesYou will oversee the performance of your regional sales team, providing real‑time coaching, feedback and support through regular field visits. You will develop strategies to close more strategic sales opportunities, conduct weekly pipeline reviews and sales planning sessions, and collaborate with leadership on recruiting and selecting top talent.
Additional Responsibilities- Assist the team in prospecting clients and maintaining accurate client records in the Atlas CRM system.
- Ensure the team meets minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure quota.
- Continuously build and develop knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and industry developments.
- Attend and lead weekly team meetings and one‑on‑one sessions with the director.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation and networking skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Training and coaching experience.
- Incentive‑driven sales leadership.
- Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
- High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
- Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face interaction.
- Knowledge of the restaurant and/or retail industry is a plus.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and regular driving to client sites.
- Background check and mandatory drug screening.
- Ability to live in the area relative to the job posting location.
- Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of relevant experience.

CompensationBase Salary: $70,000. Residual income and monthly/quarterly bonuses are available. Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE) can exceed $150,000 based on performance and location.
