The Brothers that just do Gutters are a full-service rain gutter and gutter guard franchise. We repair, install, and maintain Seamless Gutters, Gutter Guard, Specialty Gutters and many other services. The Brothers currently have multiple locations across the United States. Role Overview

To lead the sales team at The Brothers that just do Gutters. Hire and support the sales team, meet individual and team sales & profit goals, lead weekly sales meetings, and hold the sales team accountable for performance. This is a leader role, you will still be running daily estimates while also overseeing the rest of the sales team. This is still a commission based position, but the Sales Leader does get a base salary as well as higher commissions on sales.

Management

Responsibilities
  • Recruiting, training, and retaining a sales team of 3-5 people
  • Lead weekly sales meetings and trainings
  • Responsible for driving successful Sales KPI's
  • Field calls from your team to answer questions, provide guidance and coaching, and assist in closing sales
  • Drive profit by identifying and growing desirable projects, maximizing guard sales, and raising average ticket prices
  • Collaborate with production to ensure smooth customer communication, clear contracts, minimize production delays, and grow business.
Sales and Estimating Responsibilities
  • Attend all estimates on time.
  • Price new opportunities within 48 hours of the onsite visit with prospect using The Brothers that just do Gutters production rates.
  • Return incoming phone calls in a professional manner, within 8 business hours of call.
  • Provide product differentiation to customer throughout selling process (assist customer in understanding exactly what they are paying for and why it is a superior product.)
  • Effectively sell the company’s services to the customer in a competitive atmosphere by understanding the customers’ needs and selling to satisfy those needs.
  • Help jobs stay “happy and under.” Visit every sold job at least once to maintain relationship with customers and crew.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up procedures on all open bids. Get a “yes” or a “no” on all bids.
  • Strive to target and market to the most profitable jobs.
  • Prioritize work and actions in order to achieve established sales goals.
  • Maintain closing/dollars sold % of at least 40%.
  • Develop a well thought out prospecting plan focusing on generating leads for the company.
  • Participate in networking groups to establish business relationships and promote company.
  • Relentless prospecting:
    Ask every new client for referrals and gain new business outside of the company’s regular marketing efforts.
  • Maintain an organized workflow and process using company CRM.
  • Set and achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates and gross profits.
Communication
  • Maintain regular communication with owners, staff, and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business.
  • Maintain company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc.
  • Assure that all necessary information pertaining to jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (i.e. job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.)
  • Maintain open communication with crew leader and painters, in order to remain knowledgeable of jobs and teams.
  • Communicate with all employees in a positive and respectful manner.
Other Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate positive leadership through all actions with all employees.
  • Attend all meetings on time.
  • Work the necessary hours per week in order to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.
