The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market share for the company’s biocide and water treatment solutions within the assigned region. The role includes leading the regional sales team, developing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Achieve or exceed regional sales targets and profit margins.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to major accounts and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the regional sales team.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams.
- Support technical sales presentations and customer demonstrations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data.
- Manage regional sales budgets and expenses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 7–10+ years of sales experience in chemicals, water treatment, or industrial solutions.
- 3–5 years of leadership or regional sales management experience.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region.
- Strategic sales planning.
- Team leadership and coaching.
- Technical product knowledge (biocides / water treatment).
- Customer relationship management (CRM).
- Market analysis and forecasting.
