BriefPosition Summary:
The Regional Account Manager’s primary goal is to build and manage a qualified sales pipeline, close profitable mailing and shipping opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships while consistently meeting monthly sales and activity targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively prospect via field, phone, and email to identify and qualify new opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Execute all phases of the sales process, from discovery and solution design through proposal, negotiation, and close, with minimal supervision.
- Prepare and deliver accurate proposals, pricing, and contract documents with strong attention to detail.
In general, the sales territory for this position will cover parts of NW Louisiana and SW Arkansas - Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Bienville, and Claiborne Parishes, Bowie County (Texas), and Miller, Lafayette, and Columbia Counties (Arkansas). No overnight travel is required.
RequiredSkills & Experience:
Our ideal candidate is a driven, self‑motivated professional who exhibits the following:
- Successful experience in outside B2B sales, preferably selling into the following markets:
Education, Healthcare, Financial, Government and/or SMBs - Ability to establish new customer accounts and develop existing relationships
- Proficiency in communicating product, service, or equipment technical information to customers (written & verbally)
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience using CRM software (Zoho preferred) to manage pipeline, document customer interactions, and keep opportunities and activities up to date is required
- Comfortable working with clear weekly activity and pipeline targets (calls, meetings, new opportunities, and demos)
- Able to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and activity goals
- Demonstrates a high degree of professional and technical knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple activities, and short turn‑around times to meet customer needs
- Participates in regular pipeline reviews and sales team meetings, is coachable, and open to ongoing training and development
- Works closely with solution specialists, administration, and service teams to ensure smooth implementations and high customer satisfaction
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
