Description of Responsibilities

ROLE AND RESPOSIBILITIES

The Regional Account Liaison (Oral Oncology) is responsible for driving the adoption and appropriate use of oral oncology therapies within an assigned territory. This role builds strong relationships with oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and key healthcare stakeholders by providing product education, clinical support, and customer service while achieving territory sales objectives. The role combines pharmaceutical sales, account management, clinical education, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote oral oncology products to physicians, oncology practices, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and integrated health systems.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on product efficacy, safety, dosing, administration, and clinical data.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influential healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with specialty pharmacies and reimbursement teams to help address patient access challenges.
  • Analyze market trends, prescribing patterns, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual educational presentations for healthcare providers and office staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory performance using CRM systems.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Support teams to deliver a coordinated customer experience.
  • Attend regional and national oncology conferences, educational programs, and industry meetings.
  • Ensure all activities comply with FDA regulations, company policies, and industry compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience.
  • Experience in oncology or specialty pharmaceutical sales preferred.
  • Strong understanding of oncology treatment pathways and oral cancer therapies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to interpret clinical studies and communicate scientific information effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oncology sales certification or specialty pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience working with specialty pharmacies and reimbursement processes.
  • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines and oncology treatment protocols.
  • Existing relationships within oncology practices in the assigned territory.
