Instrument Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking an Instrument Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, and accessories. You'll provide knowledgeable, consultative sales, explain rental and lesson options, process transactions, and maintain attractive, well-stocked displays. You'll support school service efforts, collaborate with lesson staff, and deliver outstanding customer service. Ideal candidates have retail or music background, strong communication, and a passion for music education in a student-focused, community-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support for band and orchestra instruments, rentals, and accessories
• Educate customers on rental, purchase, and lesson program options
• Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately using POS systems
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor and displays
• Support school service and outreach efforts as needed
• Collaborate with lesson staff and other team members to drive store goals
• Deliver high-level customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and service targets
