Sales BDC Representative

We're looking for an energetic, phone-savvy Sales BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers — handling inbound leads, following up on internet inquiries, and setting appointments for our sales team. You won't be closing deals on the floor, but you'll be the engine that keeps our sales pipeline full.

This is a great fit for someone outgoing, organized, comfortable on the phone all day, and motivated by hitting daily/weekly activity goals.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to internet leads, phone inquiries, and chat/text leads
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers, past customers, and service department leads
• Schedule and confirm sales appointments for the showroom sales team
• Follow up with "be-back" and unsold customers to re-engage them
• Log all customer interactions accurately in the CRM
• Maintain a high volume of daily calls/texts/emails while keeping a friendly, professional tone
• Work closely with the sales and internet sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs
• Meet or exceed monthly appointment-set and show-rate targets

Skills required:

• Strong phone presence — confident, clear communicator, comfortable with a high call volume
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable using a CRM
• Persistent and resilient — comfortable with rejection and follow-up
• Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-driven mindset
• Prior BDC, call center, telemarketing, or customer service experience a plus (automotive experience preferred but not required)
• Basic computer proficiency (CRM systems, email, texting platforms)
